Location info
Guest scores and detailed hotel feedback
The hotel is in a prime location in uptown Charlotte, near plenty of entertainment and dining options. The rooms were fantastic, offering great comfort, but had a drawback with a horrible view. The service was top-notch, with very friendly and helpful staff. The dining experience was impressive, especially with the gym and pool on the rooftop, although it was a bit pricey. The facilities were well-maintained and added to the overall experience.
Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience for me. The rooms had a bit of a dingy smell and needed more lighting, but they did check all the boxes for a 3-star chain hotel despite being located at the end of the hallway next to the AC unit, making it very cold.
I had a mixed experience at the Holiday Inn. The rooms were clean and up to date, but the extra charges for breakfast felt like a ripoff. The service was friendly and accommodating, but the cleanliness could have been better. The location worked well for my needs, although it was a bit misleading. The adjacent restaurant was great, but having to pay extra for certain items was a downside.
The hotel is located in a vibrant area with plenty of nearby restaurants, but the rooms face a noisy nightclub with echoing music until early morning. While the service was professional and accommodating, housekeeping assistance may be lacking. The dining options offered good choices but lacked variety. The location is convenient for business but lacks scenic views.
I had a great time at the hotel, the location was perfect for my plans in Charlotte, close to museums, restaurants, and the Spectrum Center. The service was exceptional and the staff provided wonderful suggestions for coffee shops. However, the dining options were not complimentary, and I missed having a welcome drink upon arrival.
The hotel is in a prime location, close to everything with a free hotel driver service available, and offers great customer service. Although the rooms are a bit crowded and small, they come with complimentary earbuds at the front desk and blackout curtains. The staff is excellent and welcoming, except for a minor issue with the breakfast staff on Saturday morning. The facilities are top-notch with a nice restaurant on-site.
